Get Help Of Wirelessly Charge Your iPhone

 charge your iphone wirelessly

I charge my iPhone X every night wirelessly behind me. The phone was at 80% battery when I put it on the charging pad. This morning when I woke up, the phone signaled low battery. What happened? Is my battery having problems? I just updated iOS 2 days ago. Help!

Your iPhone 8 or later features integrated wireless charging that allows for an easy and intuitive charging experience. Your iPhone has a glass back that works with Qi-certified chargers that are available as accessories and in cars, cafes, hotels, airports, and furniture. Qi is an open, universal charging standard created by the Wireless Power Consortium.

What you need:

What are the specific steps?

  1. Connect your charger to power. Use the power adapter that came with your accessory or a power adapter recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Place the charger on a level surface or other location recommended by the manufacturer.
  3. Place your iPhone on the charger with the display facing up. For best performance, place it in the center of the charger or in the location recommended by manufacturer.
  4. Your iPhone should start charging a few seconds after you place it on your wireless charger.

Here are some considerations:

  • Don’t place anything between your iPhone and the charger. If your case holds some of sensitive items like magnetic mounts, magnetic cases, remove them before charging or make sure that they aren’t between the back of your iPhone and the charger.
  • If your iPhone isn’t charging or is charging slowly and your iPhone has a thick case, metal case, or battery case, try removing the case.
  • If your iPhone vibrates, your iPhone might shift position. This can cause the charging mat to stop providing power to your iPhone. If this happens often, consider turning off vibration, turning on do not disturb, or using a case to prevent movement.
  • Depending on the charging mat you have, you might hear faint noises while your iPhone charges.
  • Your iPhone might get slightly warmer while it charges. To extend the lifespan of your battery, if the battery gets too warm, software might limit charging above 80 percent. Your iPhone will charge again when the temperature drops. Try moving your iPhone and charger to a cooler location.
  • Your iPhone won’t charge wirelessly when connected to USB. If your iPhone is connected to your computer with USB, or if it’s connected to a USB power adapter, your iPhone will charge using the USB connection.

Apple Investigating iPhone X That Exploded After Updating To iOS 12.1

apple checking into iphone x that exploded after updating to ios 12.1

The iPhone was still being updated when it was connected it to Apple’s official Lightning cable and wall adapter, Rahel Mohamad told Gadgets360. “Dark gray smoke started coming from the phone. The update was completed and as soon as the phone turned on it started to smoke and caught fire,” he noted.

What caused this situation?

There have been very few reported incidents of the iPhone X exploding. The cause in this case is most likely a defect in either the battery or the charger, although a software glitch could theoretically have caused the iPhone to exceed its limits.

How can I avoid this?

All smartphones are potentially at risk of fire due to their use of lithium-ion batteries. Hence we are going to share you some tips on battery usage to help you maximize battery life and lifespan:

  • Avoid extreme ambient temperatures:

Your device is designed to perform well in a wide range of ambient temperatures, with 62° to 72° F (16° to 22° C) as the ideal comfort zone.

  • Remove certain cases during charging:

Charging your device when it’s inside certain styles of cases may generate excess heat, which can affect battery capacity.

  • Store it half-charged when you store it long term
  • Always make sure your device is using the latest version of iOS:

If an update is available, you can plug your device into a power source and update wirelessly or plug it into your computer and update with the latest version of iTunes.

  • Adjust your screen brightness and use Wi-Fi:

When you use your device to access data, a Wi-Fi connection uses less power than a cellular network

  • Enable Low Power Mode:

Low Power Mode is an easy way to extend the battery life of your iPhone when it starts to get low.

  • View Battery Usage information to manage your device’s battery life:

To view your usage, go to Settings > Battery.

  • Plug in and power on your computer to charge your device:

Make sure your computer is plugged in and powered on when you’re using it to charge your iOS device via USB.

What Should I Do If iCloud Backup Couldn’t Be Completed Or I Can’t Restore?

icloud backup couldn’t be finished or downloaded

iCloud automatically backs up your iOS device information daily over Wi-Fi when your device is turned on, locked, and connected to a power source. However, it’s not uncommon to encounter some problems while backing up via iCloud, here we are going to share you some tips and hope them can help you.

If your device won’t automatically back up at night, here’re what you need to do:

  • Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on in Settings >Your Name> iCloud > iCloud Backup
  • Connect your device to a power source
  • Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network
  • Make sure that your device’s screen is locked
  • Check that you have enough available space in iCloud for the backup

(PS: If there’s an alert says that there’s not enough iCloud storage, you can make a smaller backup or delete unwanted photos and videos. You can delete older backups that you don’t want. You are also allowed to upgrade your iCloud storage.)

Get help restoring from an iCloud backup:

  • Make sure that you’re connected to Wi-Fi, because you can’t restore from a backup over a cellular Internet connection.
  • If the restore process takes a long time to finish, you should stay connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network and a functional power source until the process finishes.

What if a message says that your restore is incomplete or some items won’t restore?

  • If a message says something like, “Restoring 350 of 1200 items,” then your photos are probably still being restored. Keep your device connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network and a power outlet so that the process can finish.
  • If you see a grayed-out app or one that takes a long time to load, make sure that you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network. Next, tap the app to pause the process, then tap it again to continue. If this doesn’t fix the issue, delete and redownload the app.
  • When your backup contains purchases that were made from more than one Apple ID, a message asks you to sign in with multiple Apple IDs. If you can’t remember a password or didn’t purchase an app using your own Apple ID account, you might see this message:
  • “Some apps or content can’t be restored, because they are no longer available in the iTunes or App Store, were purchased with a different account, or were synced from your computer.” If you have this content saved in iTunes on your Mac or PC, try syncing your device with your computer to restore your content.

Is there another way to back up or retrieve files?

The answer is definitely yes! Some backup utilities are designed to back up specific kinds of files, such as photos, texts, notes or many other data. iFonebox is such a professional and reliable program which enables you to selectively transfer data from devices to your computer. It can also be used to help you extract target files from iTunes/iCloud backup without restoring the entire backup.

Everything We Know About The iCloud Storage

all the things we know about the icloud storage

If you back up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you’ll have a copy of your information to use in case your device is ever replaced, lost, or damaged. If you reach or exceed your iCloud storage limit, learn how to manage your storage and where you can buy more. We’re going to share you some solutions to fix some other common issues.

How to see how much iCloud storage you have on your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch?

  • If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Tap iCloud Storage or Manage Storage.
  • If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage.

What happens when I go over my iCloud storage limit?

If you exceed your iCloud storage limit, photos and videos won’t upload to iCloud and your library won’t stay up to date across your devices. To continue using iCloud Photos, upgrade your storage plan or reduce the amount of storage that you’re using.

How to buy more iCloud storage?

When you set up iCloud, you automatically get 5GB of storage. You can use that space for your iCloud backups, to keep your photos and videos stored in iCloud Photo Library, and your documents up to date in iCloud Drive. If you need more space, you can buy more iCloud storage. Plans start at 50GB for $0.99 (USD) a month. If you choose 200GB or 2TB plans, you can share your storage with family. Learn more about plans and prices in your region.

How to free up more space available in iCloud?

You can free up storage in iCloud by deleting content—like old iCloud Backups, photos, videos, files, mail, and text messages—that you’re not using. Before you delete anything, you might want to archive or make copies of some of important information you store in iCloud. iFonebox is an excellent iOS backup extractor which is able to download whatever from the backup to your computer to keep them safe or for further use. Compared to iTunes, it enables you to choose target data to restore without restoring the whole backup.

Depending on how you created your Apple ID, you might not be able to set up iCloud with your current Apple ID. If your Apple ID works with the iTunes Store, App Store, Game Center, FaceTime, or other Apple services, your Apple ID should work for iCloud. Contact iCloud Support for help.

What Should I Do If My iPhone Gets Wet?

get help with the water damaged iphone

iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus are splash, water, and dust resistant and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions. However, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR are resistant to accidental spills from common liquids, such as soda, beer, coffee, tea, and juice. In the event of a spill, rinse the affected area with tap water, then wipe your iPhone off and dry it.

To prevent liquid damage, avoid these:

  • Swimming or bathing with your iPhone
  • Exposing your iPhone to pressurized water or high velocity water, such as when showering, water skiing, wake boarding, surfing, jet skiing, and so on
  • Using your iPhone in a sauna or steam room
  • Intentionally submerging your iPhone in water
  • Operating your iPhone outside the suggested temperature ranges or in extremely humid conditions
  • Dropping your iPhone or subjecting it to other impacts
  • Disassembling your iPhone, including removing screws

What should I do if my iPhone gets wet?

  • If a liquid other than water splashes on your iPhone, rinse the affected area with tap water.
  • Wipe your iPhone off with a soft, lint-free cloth—for example, a lens cloth.

  1. Make sure that your iPhone is dry before opening the SIM tray.
  2. To dry your iPhone, tap it gently against your hand with the Lightning connector facing down to remove excess liquid. Leave your iPhone in a dry area with some airflow. Placing your iPhone in front of a fan blowing cool air directly into the Lightning connector might help the drying process.
  3. Don’t dry your iPhone using an external heat source or insert a foreign object, such as a cotton swab or a paper towel, into the Lightning connector.

If my iPhone gets wet, can I charge it?

If your iPhone has been exposed to liquid, unplug all cables and do not charge your device until it’s completely dry. Using accessories or charging when wet might damage your iPhone. Allow at least 5 hours before charging with a Lightning cable or connecting a Lightning accessory.

For wireless charging, wipe off your iPhone with a soft, lint-free cloth—for example, a lens cloth. Make sure that your iPhone is dry before you place it on a compatible wireless charging mat.

What should I do if my iPhone got wet, and now its speaker sounds muffled?

Check to see if water is in the microphone or speaker: Place your iPhone, speaker side down, on a lint-free cloth and see if water drips out. Water in the port might degrade speaker or microphone performance until it completely evaporates. Dry your iPhone using the previous instructions.
