I got an iPhone XS just two days ago. For those two days, it worked just fine. However, I noticed today that the apple restart screen turned on by itself. I force restarted the phone about four times, however, the screen would not respond. Can someone help?
Question one: Your touchscreen is black and won’t turn on
Quick fix:
- Force restart your device.
- Plug in your device and let it charge for up to one hour.
- If you don’t see the charging screen, you should check the jack, USB cable, and power adapter.
- Contact Apple Support to set up a service or take your device to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
Question two: The display is not sensitive enough
Quick fix:
- Restart your device.
- Go to General >Reset > Reset All Settings.
- Update your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch to the latest iOS version.
Note: Please back up your important data before the update just in case of data loss. Here we strongly recommend you that use iFonebox to selectively transfer iPhone/ iPad/ iPod touch data to your computer.
- If it continues being unresponsive to touch, contact Apple Support.
Question three: Your display is too sensitive
Quick fix:
- Restart your device.
- Make sure your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
- Disconnect any Lightning accessories.
- Get your device out of any cases or screen protectors.
- Contact Apple Support for help.
Question four: Your screen gets cracked
Quick fix:
Accidents often happen without warning. If you have a cracked or shattered screen on your iPhone, you could follow below steps:
- Back up your device if possible.
- Make an appointment at an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Otherwise you can ship your iPod to Apple and they will repair or replace it as soon as possible.
