iOS 9.3 Update has been released for a couple of days, the new features is tempting enough for an immediate install. As this is a major update and has gone through up to 7 beta version, you need to be fully prepared for the updating in case that something goes wrong during or after the iOS 9.3 updating which will cause data losing. Here in this post, I would like to introduce a couple of different ways to recover lost data after iOS 9.3 update.
Recover Lost Data from iTunes Backup after iOS 9.3 Update
Make Sure that you have backed up your iPhone or iPad to iTunes and have an iTunes backup file stored on your computer. Check the version of your iTunes, if there is an update for the latest version, please download and install. The earlier version may cause failing to restore the lost data from iTunes Backup.Launch iTunes on your computer and plug in your iPhone or iPad.
> Click on the icon for your iPhone or iPad after it is recognized by iTunes.
> Click on Summary tab and locate the button named “ Restore Backup” If you are using Mac, you can also Click on File > Devices > Restore from Backup.
> Choose the backup file that contains all the deleted data and confirm to restore by clicking on “Restore”.
Recover Lost Data from iCloud Backup after iOS 9.3 Update
To restore lost data from iCloud backup, you need to make sure that you have backed up your iPhone or iPad to iCloud and you are connected to a fast and stable Wi-Fi network connection.
> Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap “Erase all content and settings.
> From the apps Apps & Data screen, tap Restore from iCloud Backup, then sign in to iCloud.
> Proceed to “Choose backup,” then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud.
Note: The recent backup is recommended. If you are sure one of the iCloud backup contains all the deleted data that you want back, choose it to restore your iPhone.
Recover Lost Data after iOS 9.3 Update with iFonebox
