When you use iPhone Messages App, you are not only sending text messages but also photos. The attached photos, however, takes much storage space. You can free up the storage space by deleting the attached photos, but you need to export and transfer the attached photos to computer selectively for backup.
Today, I would like to introduce two different ways to export and transfer the attached photos from iPhone to computer for back up and convenient viewing or even printing.
Export iPhone Messages Attached Photos with iFonebox
iFonebox is a powerful iPhone data recovery software which can export messages attached photos from iPhone directly and selectively.
> Install and run iFonebox on your computer.
Note: iFonebox is available for both Windows and Mac, please choose the right version to download and install.
> Connect your iPhone to your computer.
> Click “Start” on the startup interface after your iPhone is recognized by iFonebox.
Note: If your iPhone does not show up, please check whether you have plugged in your iPhone properly and whether you have trusted your computer on iPhone.
> Choose Messages Attachments to scan selectively by clicking on the related icon from the interface listing all the supported data categories.
> After the data scanning and analyzing process is completed, all the messages attached photos will be presented for previewing and selecting.
> Please choose the photos you want to recover and transferring to computer by checking each single photo and then click “Recover to Computer” to transfer to your computer.
After all the messages attached photos have been recovered and transferred to computer, you can delete all the messages attached photos from iPhone to free up more storage space.
