iOS 8.1.1 Brings Bug Fixes, Especially For iPhone 4S And iPad 2 device

iOS 8.1.1 is now available for  iPhone and iPad owners to update. this update not only provides bug fixes and performance improvement, especially for iPhone 4s and iPad 2,but it also comes with a nice surprise for all iPad owners — it returns about half a gigabyte of storage space.

After iOS 8.1.1 released, I tested it on my ipads, and in both cases post-update storage availability grew considerably. My iPad mini 3 it went from 7.5 GB remaining to 7.9 GB remaining. My iPad Air 2 went from 40.9 GB to 42.8 GB.

It sounds like 500 MB is the average size of return, and while that might not seem like much, it’s a fair amount of extra songs, apps, and photos — especially on a 16GB iPad. And when it comes to storage, more is absolutely more.

Whatever Apple did to clean up, clean out, compress, and/or otherwise make svelter the iPad version of iOS 8, it’ll no doubt be appreciated by many, especially those already tight on space.

If you’ve got an iPad, don’t wait. Update and get your storage boosted now! (Please Backup your iPhone/iPad before updating ios 8.1.1)

(If you’re so tight on space that you can’t download iOS 8.1.1 over-the-air via Software Update, you can update via iTunes on a Mac or Windows PC instead.)
