How To Keep Your Notes Safely Stored On Your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch?

Method one: Set a password for your Notes on your device

Here are two ways to lock your notes. You can create a password in settings:

  1. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest version of iOS.
  2. Go to Settings > Notes.
  3. Tap Password.
  4. Enter a password that you can easily remember.
  5. Tap Done.

Or you can create a password in notes:

  1. Choose a note that you want to lock.
  2. Click the icon in the upper right corner of the page and tap “Lock note”.
  3. Enter a password then tap done.

Note: If you forgot your password, Apple can’t help you regain access to your locked notes. You can create different passwords for different notes. If you want to change the password for a note that use an old password, you should enter the old password to remove it, then add new password to the note.
